Ashton's 10km for 10 months
Ashton Freel
My Story
As of June 2026 I will be 10 months sober.
To celebrate how far I've come and how hard I've worked to get to this point, I have decided to run my first ever 10km, when I can hardly run the length of myself😂
I will use this opportunity to shine a light and support a service close to my heart. On top of my family and friends, Dunlewey Addiction Services have had a massive impact on me changing my life over the last year.
Dunlewey Addiction Services are a charity who really understand that connection is the opposite of addiction. They go above and beyond to help all of those who access the service, through offering counselling and other support to those struggling with addiction in many forms.
Not only do Dunlewey provide this support FREE of charge, but they keep in touch, providing ongoing support through their one of a kind ARCH Programme, monthly groups, regular check-ins, creative therapies and their forever welcoming presence🩵
So in honour of my sobriety and those who have helped me get there, I'm setting a goal to try and raise £1000 for Dunlewey so that they can continue to provide the safe, supportive environment that promotes recovery.
Thank you for your support🩵
